General Sales Manager - Little Rock
Today's THV, the Gannett-owned CBS affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking an innovative and experienced sales executive who will be responsible for leading and implementing initiatives to grow revenue through providing value to broadcast and digital customers. The individual must possess strong leadership skills and will play an important role in the development and implementation of sales strategies and staff leadership. This position requires an individual with a proven record of accomplishment in team development and staff motivation.
l Build and maintain a thriving sales organization through successful recruiting, development, and leadership of sales and sales management personnel.
l Effective inventory and pricing management that supports out-delivering the market place.
l Champion all digital sales efforts for the property.
l Drive customer satisfaction and delivery through fostering a consultative selling approach.
l Expand sales footprint with existing accounts by introducing new products, services and applications.
l Ensure developmental business goals are exceeded.
l Develop short-term, mid-term and long-term business plans for the sales department.
l This includes budget development, execution and delivery.
l Oversee management of key local, regional and national accounts within the market area.
l Accurately identify, monitor and forecast sales and marketing trends for key business segments.
l Complete appropriate business activity reports and forecasts as required.
l Review and adjust metrics to monitor sales performances as well as sales/market share change.
l Achieve sales objectives by contributing information and recommendations to overall strategic plan.
l Forecast sales revenue and expenses. Achieve goals.
l Serve as a primary department head in overall station operations.
l Embrace other responsibilities with enthusiasm as assigned.
l Bachelor's degree.
l Executive level sales management experience.
l Proficient PC skills including Microsoft applications and industry specific programs.
l Ability to develop and implement both sales strategies and rate structures.
l Strong ethical standards and integrity are a must.
