Details for Account Executive - Los Angeles

ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking an Account Executive to represent all of its broadcast, digital and social properties to the Los Angeles advertising community. 

The AE will grow an established account list and develop new business across all ABC sales platforms.  If you’re the kind of person who thrives on being an integral part of a transforming industry and creating solutions to challenging issues, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. 

The ideal candidate to join our team of relentless, passionate people should have 3-5 years local and/or multiple-market television sales experience. Candidate should also have strong relationships in the marketplace.  Must have experience presenting and selling multi-platform and digital opportunities to all agency levels, as well as direct to clients.  Must be able to actively identify new business opportunities and develop plans for new accounts to generate strategic partnerships that result in new sales revenue.   

Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of current and emerging consumer and media trends, as well as excellent verbal and written presentation skills, along with strong organizational ability. 

Candidate must be PC and Mac literate (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote) and well-versed in all aspects of Social Media.  A background in media research and/or product marketing is helpful.  Knowledge of Wide Orbit traffic system is a plus.  College degree preferred.
