WTSP, TEGNA's CBS affiliate in Tampa Bay, is looking for an innovative and experienced Regional Account Executive

Live and work in Paradise! You will maximize revenue and share of local and regional accounts and ad agencies. This position will super-serve major accounts and agencies to position WTSP for broadcast revenue and share growth, as well as drive revenue opportunities for the OTT (Premion) platform.

  • Work hand in hand with sales managers on price strategy, plan and forecasting
  • Continually position the audience for rate and share of business
  • Position yourself as a resource to all clients and buying community
  • Respond to avails accordingly within deadlines
  • Negotiate effectively and secure business
  • Merchandise our delivery and performance
  • Provide leadership for the support team to ensure clients receive elite service
  • Seek revenue growth and upside opportunities beyond the scope of list of assigned accounts


  • Budget attainment expected and required
  • Market share growth
  • Maintain proper pricing based on demand
  • Reduction of revenue adjustments


  • Minimum 5 years of Television and Digital Sales experience in a professional, fast paced sales environment, ideally with a TV Station Group in a top 25 market
  • Provide elite service to all clients and agencies
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Travel as necessary
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
  • Ability to effectively solve problems
  • Creative and able to adapt quickly to change
  • Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
