New Media Manager - California
The NBC affiliate, KSEE24, is accepting applications for a New Media Manager. This newly created senior-level position will play a key role in our online sales, mobile commerce and online content initiatives. The right candidate possesses a mastery of online and mobile commerce opportunities, strong communications skills, and fluency in sales strategies and customer relations.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year in the digital and/or sales arenas. The chosen applicant will be responsible for an Internet department budget and will assist in directing Internet content, interact with News Department personnel as well as work directly with sales management and account executives to generate Internet sales projects and revenue.
The right candidate should also have the ability to conduct Internet sales in both a team setting as well as individually. He/she will work with the station management team to help direct our web site brand, as well as have the ability to help create an exciting and satisfying experience for our web users. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Requirements:
• College degree preferred
• Strong computer skills, Internet content and sales knowledge and prior experience in web page content and development.
• Minimum 1 year in the digital and/or sales arenas
