Ad Services Supervisor - Texas
Belo is currently seeking a Ad Services Supervisor. The right candidate will report to the Ad Services Manager and work with assigned teams responsible for inventory programming, implementation and maintenance, and log preparation. The Ad Services Supervisor is also responsible for motivating, training and coaching direct reports as well as overseeing team performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
...Coordinate with management to motivate and lead team members to desired performance level.
...Execute assigned tasks with high degree of accuracy within specified timeframe according to published parameters and service level expectations
...Provide successful solutions to situations presented by collaborating with coworkers customer and other stakeholders
...Provide accurate and timely program log documents daily while ensuring that contents achieve client requirements and are aligned with station revenue objectives.
...Ensures technical aspects of program logs provide for seamless integration with secondary master control system enabling automation.
...Maintain unplaced orders at minimum level, enabling maximum sales visibility to inventory by working with local sales to identify opportunities and oversold areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
...Thorough understanding of programming, inventory and log processes and related OSI system components.
...Thorough understanding of broadcast sales and revenue objectives.
...Ability to consider complex requirements when placing advertising schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and campaign success.
...Ability to think critically about situations and provide multiple possible solutions/responses to customer in order to achieve requested goals.
...Promptly provide solutions/responses to customer requests.
...Moderate reporting skills using OSI, Excel and other tools.
...Strong oral and written communication skills.
...Strong problem solving skills

High School diploma required, undergraduate degree in marketing, mass communication or related field preferred...Proficiency in Microsoft products including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel; Great people skills and ability to work positively with all personality types...Strong analytical skills; excellent communication skills and customer service skills; attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast paced.
