Local Account Executive - Spokane WA

Responsibilities:
- Seek new customers by continuously prospecting, while following the Company's planned sales strategies and tactics
- Solicit and manage customers utilizing excellent phone skills and person to person sales presentations
- Create and propose creative television, online, and advanced advertising recommendations that best suit customer needs
- Achieve and/or exceed assigned revenue goals via customer approval of advertising contracts
- Maintain up to date customer and prospect records as instructed and participate in development of sales forecasts
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed
- Complete all sales related paperwork including advertising schedules and contracts, expense and activity reports, credit applications
- Coordinate and assist with production as needed
- Adhere to all company policies, including recommended rates and packages and collection procedures
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements
- Successful experience with direct, business-to-business outsides sales including new account development. Media sales preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance. Must have a satisfactory driving record
- Computer literate with working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office) and the Internet
- Comfortable learning and applying new technology platforms
- High School diploma or GED
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Cable media sales experience
-Internet advertising sale experience
- Experience selling cross-platform media
- Working knowledge of the media industry, marketing research, and competitive conditions
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing
