VP/General Sales Manager - Florida
WTVT – Fox13 in Tampa, FL is searching for a VP/General Sales Manager. This position will oversee, manage and coordinate the strategic sales efforts of television, web, mobile and emerging platforms to achieve sales financial goals. Oversee the management and direction of the traffic and commercial production departments. Maximize the commercial inventory of the station.
Requirements: Three to five years sales management experience at a local television station preferred. Knowledge of inventory management systems, pricing strategies, budgeting, forecasting, national and local media negotiation processes, traffic systems, new business development techniques, sales training, ratings systems and overall sales methods. Must have good leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to make decisions and motivate the staff.
